The next playground meeting will take place on Thursday, September 20, from 12:00 to 13:30, at the faculty of TPM, Classroom I (31.A1.250).
The program contains pitch presentations, kickstarting discussion and sharing of insights:
- Rijk Mercuur – What is the value of agents with values? – Modelling decision-making agents.
- Pieter Vermaas – Design for values: a humanitarian data center – How to design a data center to support the work of international humanitarian organisations? What values play a role and how do these (possibly conflicting) values translate to the design of the center? These questions, surfacing in the research ecosystem around the TUD The Hague Campus, will be pitched for exploring possibilities.
- Irene Conversano, Livia del Conte – Co-analysis Research through Design for Values.
We invite you to send in insights, questions and remarks that you would like to address during this or future playground meetings, or to volunteer or nominate someone for a pitch presentation.
Playground meetings are our informal lunch meetings for discussing design for values topics and sharing ideas and insights. They are planned monthly on the 3rd Thursday and rotate between the four DDFV faculties.
