The next playground meeting will take place on Thursday, December 13, from 12:00 to 13:30, at the faculty of EEMCS (building 36, Hall L, LH-01-450).

The theme of the playground meeting will be ‘Design for Privacy‘. How to ‘design for privacy’? How can we operationalize the value of privacy; how do we conceptualize it and what specifications can we use to inform our design decisions?

To kickstart the thematic discussion, the program of this playground meeting contains two pitch presentations:

– Aaron Ding: Privacy-by-Design
– Jacky Bourgeois: Responsible Internet of Things Data Research
Moderator: Neil Yorke-Smith.

Let us know if you have any specific questions for the presenters, or about the theme, to be touched upon during the meeting.

If you register for the meeting (, we can order you lunch, but feel free to drop in at the last moment, also without registering.

Playground meetings are our informal lunch meetings for discussing design for values topics and sharing ideas and insights. They are planned monthly on the 3rd Thursday and rotate between the four DDfV faculties. You are invited to send in insights, questions and remarks to share during these meetings, or to volunteer or nominate someone for a pitch presentation.
