From 13 to 17 May 2019, Dr. Elisabeth Lex will visit TU Delft at the invitation of the DDfV Institute. Her work on credibility assessment and trust in recommender systems allows us to translate our values concerning misinformation and filter bubbles into technological norms and concrete design requirements. This work is strongly grounded in evaluation using behavioral user data, which allows us to assess value realization in design/engineering outcomes.
